I wanted to find a balance between the sparkle of glitter children love, something gentle on the earth and plastic free, but also affordable enough to be used and enjoyed freely. 

Enter: Our Biodegradable Glitter.

This glitter offers a softer kind of sparkle, thoughtfully chosen as an alternative to conventional glitter. Made from renewable, eucalyptus plant-based cellulose, it creates a gentle, light-catching shimmer while supporting a more mindful approach to creative play. 

Independently tested under OECD 301B by TÜV and SGS, two internationally recognised testing authorities, this glitter has been shown to biodegrade over time through the action of microorganism, returning to the earth as part of the natural carbon cycle and meeting recognised biodegradability standards. 

In line with efforts to remove microplastics, this glitter provides a considered alternative to traditional plastic glitter. It is non-toxic and free from hazardous substances, making it suitable for creative play, sensory experiences, celebrations, and even hair and face use.
